Very important aspect to consider when you decide to buy a wood stove is the location within the home, which is to installed.
Much more will be installed in a central position of the house and the more able to evenly heat all the rooms. Traditionally, however, the chimneys are built along the outer walls, and this evil lends itself to a better heat distribution.
So if you have the opportunity to take advantage of a chimney in a more central position, do not hesitate to exploit it by placing the stove near it.
The fact of being able to shift the stove to an inner wall (masonry) instead of at an outside, also will take advantage of all the heat (and not cheap ...) emitted from the back of the stove.
